    AmerisourceBergen pioneered the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) movement within the pharmaceutical industry. Today, AmerisourceBergen uses the ANSI X.12 standard format to transfer more than 3,000,000 standard EDI documents with trading partners every month.

  • Our warehouses serve 27,000 pharmacies every day including independent and chain retail, health systems, long-term care facilities, mail order companies, clinics, behavioral health organizations, and others.

    There are more 3,600 independent pharmacies who enjoy the power of volume purchasing and scaled services when they work together as members of our Good Neighbor Pharmacy (GNP) brand.


    The more than 5,000 stores in our Good Neighbor Pharmacy Provider Network™, which helps pharmacies access and administer managed care contracting opportunities and margins, represents one of the largest groups of commnuity pharmacies in the United States.
